The YMCA Wave Runners is a Bahamas Swimming Federation registered swim club located
on Grand Bahama. In recent years, the Wave Runners has stood out as the number one swim
club on Grand Bahama and its swimmers continually rank among the top in the country. The
size of the team has also doubled in the last five years and continues to grow.
Led by Head Coach Iva Russell, the YMCA Wave Runners offers a supportive environment
designed to take any swimmer, regardless of their starting ability, to the level they wish to
attain. By introducing new and innovative methods the coaching staff continue to provide
quality coaching for all levels.
